A. Event Arrangements
Q1. What is the difference between the "The Piggy Doggy Charity Walk" and "The Piggy Charity Walk" registration options?
Answer:
"The Piggy Doggy Charity Walk" is a pet-friendly category. Whether you bring a pet or not, you are welcome to join and enjoy the walk. Participant who completes the "Pet Participation Donation of HK$100" during registration can bring their pet to participant the event.
"The Piggy Charity Walk" category does not allow pets to participate, which is friendly to participants who are uncomfortable around pets.
Q2. Is baggage storage service available on the event day?
Answer: No baggage storage service is provided. All personal belongings and valuables are the participant's own responsibility. We recommend traveling light and avoiding bringing valuable items.
Q3. Do I need to report to any officials for check-in upon my arrival on the event day?
Answer: No. The Organizer strongly advises participants to arrive earlier at the start point - Pak Shek Kok Promenade, Tai Po (see Route Map) - according to the assembly time for their registered walk session. Please follow instructions from staff and queue in designated areas. The Organizer reserves the right to modify event arrangements and timings as necessary.
Q4. Is there a time limit for the walk?
Answer: Both 3KM and 1KM have completion time limits of 45 minutes and 20 minutes, respectively.
Q5. Are there water stations and first aid points along the route?
Answer: Yes. First Aid Stations will be set up at both the Charles K. Kao Auditorium (Golden Egg) and along the Pak Shek Kok Promenade. Water Dispensers are available along the Pak Shek Kok Promenade. A Water Refill Station will also be available along the Pak Shek Kok Promenade (see Route Map). ”Tibet Water Resources Ltd.“ is the Official Water Sponsor, generously providing 5100 Tibet Water. A water station will be set up along the Pak Shek Kok Promenade (see Route Map) to distribute one bottle of water. One bottle of water per participant.
Q6. How can I collect the finisher medal and E-certificate?
Answer: Participant who complete the walk on event day can receive one Finisher Medal. Please collect it at the medal collection point at the Charles K. Kao Auditorium (Golden Egg), Hong Kong Science Park, by presenting your “Piggy Race Bib“ for verification. Finisher Medals must be collected on-site on the event day (on or before 3:00 PM on 8th February, 2026). No late issuance will be arranged. Participants can download their personal E-certificate from the event website starting from 11:00 AM on 9th February, 2026.
Q7. If I lose my race bib, can I still participate in the walk?
Answer: Participants are recommended to wear the “Themed Event T-shirts” who must carry their own “Piggy Race Bib” to participate in the walk and receive their own finisher medals. If lost or forgotten, participants must go to the "Race Bib Replacement Counter" at the Charles K. Kao Auditorium (Golden Egg), Hong Kong Science Park, and pay a HKD $60 replacement fee to obtain a spare bib before participating and obtain the finisher medal.
Q8. Will the event be held as scheduled in case of inclement weather? If the event is canceled, can the donation be refunded?
Answer: If No. 8 Gale or Storm Signal or above, or a Black or Red Rainstorm Signal is hoisted at or after 7:00 AM on the event day, the event will be cancelled. The Organizer reserves the right to alter or cancel the Event due to weather, *force majeure, or other circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer. In such cases, all donations (including minimum donations, pet participation donations, purchased medal engraving services, charity products, and extra donations) are non-refundable. All donation will be retained in supporting mental health services and promoting mental well-being for all.
*Force Majeure includes and is not limited to the Organizer being unable to perform its obligations or organize or hold the Event due to fire, flood, earthquake, or other severe natural disaster or act of God; or due to protest, riot, civil disobedience, uprising, march, revolt, assembly, demonstration, occupation, commotion, mass gathering, war, insurrection, sabotage, pandemic, epidemic, or terrorist attack or the likelihood of such event or act.
B. Registration Arrangements
Q1. Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend the event after registration?
Answer: The minimum donation pledged by participants is a charitable contribution. Once submitted, it is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-cancellable. Regardless of attendance, all donations will not be refunded and will be used in full for the designated charitable purpose.
Q2. Why are some routes and times unavailable for selection?
Answer: All routes and time slots have limited capacity. Once a slot is full, it will be closed. Please select another available time slot.
Q3. Can I join the walk with more than one routes and times?
Answer: Yes. Participants can register for more than one routes and times s as long as they meet the requirements (refer to the Terms and Conditions). However, please note that you cannot register for the same routes and times twice. If you register twice, only the earlier registration will be counted, and the minimum donation and also other donation paid will not be refunded.
Q4. When will I receive the one-off donation receipt by email from LST?
Answer: Participants will receive an one-off donation receipt from LST immediately upon successful online registration and donation.
C. "Piggy Race Pack" Collection Arrangements
Q1. When will the race packs be distributed?
Answer: Participants can collect their "Piggy Race Pack" from 26th January, 2026 (Monday) to 6th February 6, 2026 (Friday), during office hours (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays) at 61 Lung Kong Road, Kowloon City. Please present the original or a copy of the "Piggy Race Pack Collection Email". If unable to collect in person, please complete the "Collection Authorization Form" for a proxy, who must present the collection email and copies of both the participant's and proxy's ID for verification. Q2. How can I collect the race pack?
Answer: The Organizer will commence dispatching "Piggy Race Packs" via SF Express from 26th January, 2026 (Monday). Delivery typically takes 1-3 working days after dispatch; actual transit time is subject to SF Express's information. [Applicable for SF Express Delivery]

Q3. What should I do if I didn’t receive the confirmation email after registration?
Answer: If you have confirmed that the minimum donation has been paid but have not received the confirmation email, please contact the organizer via:

Q4. Can I collect the race pack on the event day?
Answer: Race pack collection will not be available on the event day.
Q5. Can I change my T-shirt size?
Answer: No. Participants can only select their T-shirt size during registration. Once you submit and complete the payment process, no changes can be made.
