Terms & Conditions - The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society Kowloon

A. Participant Guideline

Lok Sin Tong x Usagyuuun!!! Charity Walk 2026 (the "Event") is organized by The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon (the "Organizer"). Participants must read the "Terms & Conditions" carefully. Once the enrollment application is submitted, participants agree to comply with all event rules and any temporary arrangements or decisions made by the Organizer.
If a participant fail to comply with the "Terms & Conditions," the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant or terminate their participation during the event without any refund. The Organizer's decisions are final judgment.
The Organizer will procure "Public Liability Insurance" and "Group Personal Accident Insurance" for the event. Participants may purchase additional personal accident insurance, death insurance, or other coverage at their own discretion. The Organizer, sponsors, and supporting entities shall not be held liable for any compensation or legal responsibility. Participants shall provide reasonable compensation to the Organizer for any additional expenses incurred due to the participant's violation of rules or unlawful conduct.
Personal data provided by participants will be used solely for event registration purposes and will be kept strictly confidential.
Materials recorded during the event involving participants (and their pets), including but not limited to photos or videos, voice (video or audio recordings), and interview content, may be used by the Organizer for promotional purposes.
The Organizer reserves the right to alter or cancel the Event due to weather, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer. All donations (including enrollment fees and additional donations) are non-refundable.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend the "Terms & Conditions" at any time without prior notice. The Organizer holds the ultimate decision-making authority regarding all matters related to the event. The latest information shall be based on announcements made on the official event website.

Remarks: Force Majeure includes and is not limited to the Organizer being unable to perform its obligations or organize or hold the Event due to fire, flood, earthquake, or other severe natural disaster or act of God; or due to protest, riot, civil disobedience, uprising, march, revolt, assembly, demonstration, occupation, commotion, mass gathering, war, insurrection, sabotage, pandemic, epidemic, or terrorist attack or the likelihood of such event or act.

B. Enrollment Notes

The minimum donation pledged by participants is a charitable contribution. Once the enrollment application is submitted, all donations (including the minimum donation by category, pet participation donations, medal engraving services add-ons, charity products add-ons, and additional donations) are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-cancellable. In the event of absence or withdrawal for any reason, participation eligibility is non-transferable and non-cancellable.
Enrollement available from now until 4 December 2026 (Friday). Quotas are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
All enrollments must complete via the event website in advance. No on-site enrollments are allowed.
Applicants must ensure all information provided is accurate. Data will be used for verification and the production of finisher medal and E-certificate. All information cannot be changed after application is submitted. The Organizer reserves the right to reject applications with incomplete information, transaction failure, or failure to follow the enrollment process. In the event of duplicate enrollments, only the record of the first submission will be accepted. All donations are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-cancellable.
Participants of all ages are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above by participating the double team.
Participants under 18 must obtain prior written or verbal consent from their parent or guardian. Submission of enrollment implies that both the participant and their parent/guardian agree to abide by all Terms & Conditions established and subsequently amended by the Organizer.
Confirmation email and donation receipt will be sent immediately upon successful online enrollment and completion of the minimum donation. Please check the junk mail box and contact the Organizer promptly if the confirmation email is not received.
If participants choose to pick up the event race pack in person, a collection email will be sent prior to the collection date. If participants have not received this email by 30 November 2026 (Monday), please contact the Organizer immediately.
The Organizer reserves the right to contact participants via email/ phone/ WhatsApp/ etc to provide event updates and verification of enrollment information.

C. Event Race Pack and E-certificate Arrangements

Individual participants will receive 1 event race pack, and Team of Double participants will receive 2 event race packs.
Each race pack includes:
1 x Themed T-shirt,
1 x Race Bib,
1 x Cooling Towel,
1 x Luggage Tag,
1 x Blind Bag Keychain (Total 4 designs, distributed randomly in blind bags), and
1 x Charity Voucher
Participants who add on pet participation donations will receive an Versatile Pet & Parent Bandana (1 bandana per pet participation).
For participants who make additional donations for charity products add-ons, or are eligible for Early Bird gifts or additional donation gift, the relevant items will be distributed together with the race pack.
Once confirmed the enrollment, all donations are non-refundable and product quantities cannot be modified.
The Organizer will not replace lost, damaged, or stolen after collection of the Event Race Packs and Finisher Medals.
Race Pack Collection: Self Pick-up
Collection Date: 4–6 December 2026 (Friday to Sunday)
Collection Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM / 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Collection Location: Lok Sin Tong Head Office (61 Lung Kong Road, Kowloon City)
From MTR Sung Wong Toi Station (Exit B3): Approx. 5-minute walk

*Participants must collect in person by presenting the "Race Pack Collection Email". If collecting via a proxy, the proxy must bring:
I. Completed "Collection Authorization Form"
II. Copy of the proxy's Identity Document
III. Copy of Race Pack Collection Email
Race Pack Collection: SF Express - Freight Collect
Dispatch Dates: 2 – 6 December 2026
Transit Time: 1–3 days after dispatch (actual delivery times depend on SF Express)
Delivery Fee: To be borne by participants
Remarks: Items lost or damaged during delivery will not be reissued.

*Please download the 'SFHK APP' to track your shipment status to ensure smooth delivery.
*Delivery service is available in Hong Kong only. Other address (China, Macau or Taiwan) is not available.
*If the race pack cannot be delivered to a certain location or receiver, we will inform you using the contact information provided during enrollment to change the address, receiver or arrange by other methods.
One Finisher Medal will be issued per race bib on the event day. Upon completing the walk, participants must present their race bib at the Medal Booth to collect their medal.
Medal Booth closes at 2:00 PM, 12 December 2026 (Saturday). No late collection or reissuance will be arranged.
E-certificates will be available for download on the event website starting from 12:00 NOON, 14 December 2026 (Monday).

D. Preparation & Event Day Arrangements

Participants are strongly encouraged to wear the themed event T-shirt and MUST present their Race Bib for the walk and medal collection. In case of a lost or forgotten Race Bib, participants must visit the Information Desk before the event starts to request a replacement race bib for a HKD $100 replacement fee in order to join the event.
Participants are encouraged to arrive at the venue 10 minutes prior to their start time and complete a warm-up before the race to prevent injury.
On-site check-in is not required. Participants should arrive at the start point according to their start time, follow the instructions of on-site staff, and queue up in designated areas. The Organizer reserves the right to adjust event arrangements and schedules as necessary.

First Aid Stations are located at the Tseung Kwan O South Landing and the LOHAS Park Road Roundabout.
Water Station are located at LOHAS Park Road Roundabout. Bottled mineral water will be sponsored by "5100 Xizang Glacier Company Limited", with each participant limited to one bottle.
Participants must strictly adhere to their selected walking route and time slot. Those failing to attend their designated slot may be refused participation at the Organizer's sole discretion.
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant and ban them from future events for any violation of the following, including: engaging in or attempting to engage in any conduct that violates the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) or the Hong Kong National Security Law; or carrying out or attempting to carry out any form of protest, political, religious, or racial propaganda, at any time during the event or in any event-related venue or area.

E. Pet Participation Regulations (Applicable for Pet Owners)

All participating dogs must be microchipped and fully vaccinated against rabies.
All participating dogs must be at least 5 months old and in good health. Dogs in heat will not be admitted.
Owners must manage their pets at all times, such as dogs must be leashed during event. Owners should also clean up after your pets to keep the venue clean.
Owners are fully liable for any incidents caused by their pets, including but not limited to related medical and other expenses.
The Organizer will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries to any participants or their pets during the event.
If a pet shows abnormal signs, such as elevated heart rate and hyperventilation, unusual agitation, or behavior disturbing others, and the situation persists without improvement after assessment, the Organizer reserves the right to require the immediate departure of the pet from the event.
Participants are responsible for the safety of their pets and bring their own drinking water for the pets.

F. Baggage Storage Arrangements

No baggage storage service will be provided. Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings and valuables. Participants are strongly advised to travel light and avoid bringing valuable items.
The Organizer shall not be held liable for any compensation or legal responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property. If needed, participants may purchase personal property insurance at their own discretion.

G. Safety & Health Instructions

All participants should complete a warm-up before the race to prevent injury.
Should any discomfort arise during the event, participants must immediately cease participation and seek assistance from on-site staff.
Participants should bring sufficient drinks, snacks, and sun care product, and stay hydrated.
Participants under 18 (and their parents/ guardians) must understand and accept the risks and physical demands involved, ensuring they are in good health and capable of completing the activity. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant deemed unfit to participate.
Participants must bear responsibility for any incidents (including death, injury, or property loss) occurring during the event. The Organizer shall not be liable for any compensation or legal responsibility.
The event is not suitable for individuals who are pregnant or have chronic diseases such as heart disease or high blood pressure.

H. Adverse Weather & Force Majeure Arrangements

If the Red or Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted within 2 hours before the event starts (8:00 AM), the event will be cancelled, no rescheduling will be offered, and no further notice.
If the event is cancelled due to bad weather, other unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, an announcement will be made via the event website and social media of the Organizer by 8:00 AM on the event day. Finisher Medals can then be collected during office hours at Lok Sin Tong Head Office.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend or cancel the Event. All donations (including minimum donations by category, pet participation donations, medal engraving services add-ons, charity products add-ons, and additional donations) are non-refundable. All donations will be used to support LST elderly service.

I. Transport Information (To: Tseung Kwan O South Landing)

On Foot:
From MTR Tiu Keng Leng Station (Exit A): Approx. 15-minute walk.
From MTR Tseung Kwan O Station (Exit C): Approx. 15-minute walk.
By Public Transport:
Green Minibus 114A (MTR Tseung Kwan O Station Exit A1), get off at "Tong Chun Street" and 2-minute walk.
By Car:
No parking space will be provided by the Organizer. If needed, it is suggested to use nearby parking facilities.

Privacy Policy and Personal Information Collection

The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon (the "Organizer") is committed to complying with the provisions of the HKSAR's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. The Organizer strive to properly safeguard your personal data and ensure its accuracy. The organizer will not use your personal data for direct marketing purposes without your consent. You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data held by the organizer.

Purposes of Personal Information Collection

The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon collects and uses your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, primarily for the following purposes:

Processing donations and fundraising matters, including issuing receipts and donation-related inquiries.
Providing information about The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon via print and electronic channels (see details below),
Promoting the organization's fundraising or volunteer activities,
The organization's service, development and report, and
Purposes within the scope permitted or required by law.

*If you do not authorize the provision of certain personal data to The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon, the organizer may not be able to provide you with relevant information or services. The organizer strictly prioritize the security of your personal data, and all information is handled with confidentiality measures to ensure your privacy is fully protected.
