A. Participant Guideline
1. VetiVa Presents: Lok Sin Tong x LuLu the Piggy Charity Walk is organized by The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon (the "Organizer"). Participants must carefully read the "Terms & Conditions." Submission of a registration application implies agreement to abide by all event rules and any temporary arrangements or decisions made by the Organizer.
2. If a participant fail to comply with the "Terms & Conditions," the Organizer reserves the right to Date : disqualify the participant or terminate their continued participation during the event without any refund. The Organizer's decisions are final judgment. Participants shall provide reasonable compensation to the Organizer for any additional expenses incurred due to the participant's violation of rules or unlawful conduct.
3. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the “Terms & Conditions” at any time without prior notice. The Organizer holds the ultimate decision-making authority regarding all matters related to the event. The latest information shall be based on announcements made on the official event website.
4. Personal data provided by participants will be used solely for event registration purposes and will be kept strictly confidential by the Organizer.
5. Materials recorded during the event involving participants (and their pets), including but not limited to photos or videos, voice (video or audio recordings), and interview content, may be used by the Organizer for promotional purposes.
6. The Organizer will procure " Public Liability Insurance" and "Group Personal Accident Insurance" for the event. Participants may purchase additional personal accident insurance, death insurance, or other coverage at their own discretion.
B. Registration Guideline
1. The registration is from now until 23rd January, 2026 (Friday). Quotas are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until full.
2. A Registration Confirmation email and an one-off donation receipt by email will be sent via email upon successful online registration and completion of the minimum donation.
3. “The Piggy Race Pack Collection Email" [For Pickup] will be sent prior to the collection date. If participants have not received this email by 26th January, 2026 (Monday), please contact the Organizer (Tel: 2272 9808 / WhatsApp: 5485 1633; Email: charitywalk@loksintong.org).
4. Participants of all ages are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above.
5. Participants under 18 must obtain prior written or verbal consent from their parent or guardian. Submission of registration implies that both the participant and their parent/guardian agree to abide by all Terms & Conditions established and subsequently amended by the Organizer.
6. Applicants must ensure all information provided in the registration form is accurate. Some data will be used for verification and the production of finisher medal and E-certificate. All information cannot be changed after registration is submitted.
7. Once a registration is accepted, all donations (including the minimum donation by category, pet participation donations, additional medal engraving services, charity products, and extra donations) are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Organizer reserves the right to reject applications with incomplete information, late minimum donation payments, or failure to follow the registration process.
8. All participants must complete registration via the event website in advance. On-the-day registration will not be available.
9. The Organizer reserves the right to contact participants via email, phone, WhatsApp, etc., to provide event updates and inquire about the event.
C. The Piggy Race Pack" / Finisher Medal / E-certificate
1.“The Piggy Race Pack" quantity: [Individual] x1 / [Doubles] x2.
2. Each “The Piggy Race Pack" includes: One “Piggy Race Bib”, one "Piggy Crossbody Bag," one "Piggy Card Holder," one "Stress-Relief Key Blind Box" (randomly assigned), one “Themed Event T-shirt”, one "Piggy Charity Coupon," and Pawsome Bandanas (Only applicable to participants who bring their pets).
3. "Piggy Race Pack" Collection Arrangement
3.1 Pickup
Collection Date : 26/1/2026 - 6/2/2026
Collection Time : During office hours (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays)
Location : 61 Lung Kong Road, Kowloon City.
Remark : Please present the original or a copy of the "Piggy Race Pack Collection Email". If unable to collect in person, please complete the "Collection Authorization Form" for a proxy, who must present the collection email and copies of both the participant's and proxy's ID for verification.
3.2 SF Express Delivery
Delivery Date : 26/1/2026 - 6/2/2026
Delivery Period : Typically takes 1-3 working days after dispatch; actual transit time is subject to SF Express's information.
Delivery Fee : Participant pays for shipping.
4. Participant who complete the walk on event day can receive one Finisher Medal. Please collect it at the medal collection point at the Charles K. Kao Auditorium (Golden Egg), Hong Kong Science Park, by presenting your “Piggy Race Bib“ for verification.
5. Finisher Medals must be collected on-site on the event day (on or before 15:00 on 8th February, 2026). No late issuance will be arranged.
6. The Organizer will not replace lost, damaged, or stolen after collection of "Piggy Race Packs" and Finisher Medals.
7. Participants can download their personal E-certificate from the event website starting from 11:00 AM on 9th February, 2026.
D. Preparation & Event Day Arrangements
1. Participants are recommended to wear the “Themed Event T-shirts” who must carry their own “Piggy Race Bib” to participate in the walk and receive their own finisher medals. If lost or forgotten, participants must go to the "Race Bib Replacement Counter" at the Charles K. Kao Auditorium (Golden Egg), Hong Kong Science Park, and pay a HKD $60 replacement fee to obtain a spare bib before participating.
2. On-site check-in is not required. The Organizer strongly advises participants to arrive earlier at the start point - Pak Shek Kok Promenade, Tai Po (see Route Map) - according to the assembly time for their registered walk session. Please follow instructions from staff and queue in designated areas. The Organizer reserves the right to modify event arrangements and timings as necessary.
3. Participants must strictly adhere to their selected walking route and time slot. Those not attending their designated slot may be refused participation at the Organizer's discretion.
4. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who conducts or violates the following rules, and further prohibit such persons from participating in future events held by the Organizer. This includes: Participants, at any time during the event or in any venue or area related to the event, conducting or attempting to conduct any act that violates the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the National Security Law. Participants, at any time during the event or in any venue or area related to the event, conducting or attempting to conduct any form of demonstration, or political, religious, or racial propaganda.
5. A unified start time applies to all participants according to their selected walking route and time slot; no individual adjustments will be made.
6. First Aid Stations will be set up at both the Charles K. Kao Auditorium (Golden Egg) and along the Pak Shek Kok Promenade. Water Dispensers will also be available along the Pak Shek Kok Promenade.
7. ”Tibet Water Resources Limited“ is the Official Water Sponsor, generously providing 5100 Tibet Water. A water station will be set up along the Pak Shek Kok Promenade (see Route Map) to distribute one bottle of water. One bottle of water per participant.
8. For any inquiries or assistance on event day, please liaise with staff.
E. Safety & Health Instructions
1. All participants should perform warm-up exercises before the activity starts to reduce the risk of injury.
2. Participants should bring sufficient drinks, snacks, and sun care product, and stay hydrated.
3. Participants (and parents/guardians of minors under 18) must understand and accept the risks and physical demands involved, ensuring they are in good health and capable of completing the activity. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant deemed unfit to participate.
4. Participants must bear responsibility for any incidents (including death, injury, or property loss) occurring during the event. The Organizer shall not be liable for any compensation or legal responsibility.
5. The event is not suitable for individuals who are pregnant or have chronic diseases such as heart disease or high blood pressure.
F. Event Rules (Pet Participation - Applicable for Pet Owners)
1. All participating dogs must be microchipped and fully vaccinated against rabies.
2. All participating dogs must be at least 5 months old and in good health. Dogs in heat will not be admitted.
3. Owners must manage their pets at all times, such as dogs must be leashed during event. Owners should also clean up after your pets to keep the venue clean.
4. Owners are fully liable for any incidents caused by their pets, including but not limited to related medical and other expenses.
5. The Organizer will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries to any participants or their pets during the event.
6. If a pet shows abnormal signs, such as elevated heart rate and hyperventilation, unusual agitation, or behavior disturbing others, and the situation persists without improvement after assessment by the Organizer, the Organizer reserves the right to require the immediate departure of the pet from the event.
7. Participants are responsible for the safety of their pets. Participants are also responsible to bring own drinking water for their pets.
G. Baggage Storage Arrangements
1. No baggage storage service is provided. Participants are solely responsible for their personal items and valuables. It is recommended to travel light and avoid bringing valuables.
2. The Organizer is not responsible for any loss or damage. Participants may purchase property insurance at their own discretion if needed.
H. Inclement Weather & Force Majeure Arrangements
1. If No. 8 Gale or Storm Signal or above, or a Black or Red Rainstorm Signal is hoisted at or after 7:00 AM on the event day, the event will be cancelled and no further notice.
2. If the event is cancelled due to bad weather, other unforeseen circumstances or *force majeure, an announcement will be made via the event website and social media platforms by 7:00 AM on the event day. Finisher Medals can then be collected during office hours at 61 Lung Kong Road, Kowloon City.
3. The Organizer reserves the right to alter or cancel the Event. All donations (including minimum donations, pet participation donations, purchased medal engraving services, charity products, and extra donations) are non-refundable. All donations will be retained in supporting mental health services and promoting mental well-being for all.
*Force Majeure includes and is not limited to the Organizer being unable to perform its obligations or organize or hold the Event due to fire, flood, earthquake, or other severe natural disaster or act of God; or due to protest, riot, civil disobedience, uprising, march, revolt, assembly, demonstration, occupation, commotion, mass gathering, war, insurrection, sabotage, pandemic, epidemic, or terrorist attack or the likelihood of such event or act.
I. Absence, Refund, & Incentive Arrangements
1. The minimum donation pledged by participants is a charitable contribution. Once submitted, it is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-cancellable. Regardless of attendance, all donations will not be refunded and will be used in full for the designated charitable purpose.
J. Transportation Information (To: Pak Shek Kok Promenade, Tai Po)
1. Walking: Participants can walk from “University" Station (approx. 30 minutes).
2. Public Transport: From “University” MTR Station, take KMB Bus “272K”. From “Sha Tin” Station (Pai Tau Street), take Minibus “27”. (Alight at "The Hong Kong Institute of Biotechnology")
3. Driving: Participants may drive and park at the Hong Kong Science Park Visitor Car Park. The Organizer does not provide or reserve parking spaces. Early arrival is recommended if needed.
The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon (the "Organizer") is committed to complying with the provisions of the Hong Kong SAR's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. The Organizer strive to properly safeguard your personal data and ensure its accuracy. The organizer will not use your personal data for direct marketing purposes without your consent. You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data held by the organizer.
Purposes of Personal Information Collection
The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon collects and uses your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, primarily for the following purposes:
- Processing donations and fundraising matters, including issuing receipts to you and donation-related inquiries.
- Sending you information about The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon via print and electronic channels (see details below).
- Promoting the organization’s fundraising or volunteer activities.
- The organization’s service, development and report; and
- Purposes within the scope permitted or required by law.
*If you do not authorize the provision of certain personal data to The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon, the organizer may not be able to provide you with relevant information or services. The organizer strictly prioritize the security of your personal data, and all information is handled with confidentiality measures to ensure your privacy is fully protected.
Categories of Personal Data
The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon may collect the following categories of personal data, including:
- Your personal contact, such as name, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
- Your business information, such as company name and title.
- Your credit card and/or bank account details.
Transfer of Personal Data
The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon may provide your personal data to third parties, as follows:
- Organizations/ company providing fundraising-related services, including donation and payment processing, data processing, and other related support services.
- Suppliers providing operational and administrative support services to The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon.

- Other third parties as required or permitted by law.
Access to and Correction of Personal Data
You have the right to request access to and correction of records containing your personal data held by the Organizers. If you wish to make such a request, or if you have any questions or complaints regarding our privacy policy or privacy practices, please notify our staff in writing.
